Cynthia Bower

I am an experienced public sector leader with a commitment to high quality user focussed services, particularly for people in disadvantaged circumstances. I have worked at CEO level for over 12 years in four different NHS organisations before retiring from public office as the Chief Executive of the Britain's first health and social care regulator, the Care Qualtiy Comission.

My work at the highest level of public service has lead me to form The Grace Partnership a consultancy of former executives whose aim is to help organisations understand their reputation, anticipate risk to their repuation, and handle political and public challenges confidently.

I am a graduate of Birmingham University and in my spare time enjoy travel, running, yoga, playing the guitar, tending to my allotment and spending time with my son Daniel.
